Cerberos Brokers Pty Ltd are the appointed licensed general insurance brokers for the MEU Queensland Group Insurance Scheme. Cerberos administer the Weekly Personal Accident & Sickness and the Death & TPD (by accident only) cover.
The Life cover component is handled by Paul Bonney (ARN 297779), a Representative of Cable House Pty Ltd (ABN 78 139 073 055 / ARN 410236) and both are authorised representatives of Cable House Financial Planning Pty Ltd AFSL 522916. Cerberos is not licensed to transact life insurance and cannot offer any advice on the AIA (formerly AIG) Life cover component of the scheme.

Cover can be purchased in the following ways
- Income Protection (Weekly Accident & Sickness) Cover only
- Income Protection (Weekly Accident & Sickness) and Death & TPD plus Life Cover

Declaration of Health for consideration of pre-existing conditions to be covered under the policy. No cover provided for pre-existing conditions until the insurer confirms in writing, what if any pre-existing conditions will be covered.

A requirement of joining the life cover is that all new members MUST COMPLETE A DECLARATION OF HEALTH. No cover available until insurer confirms acceptance of Declaration of Health.
Sum insured can be extended to the following limits:
- $250,000
- $500,000
Individual Application required for Insurer to confirm acceptance. This cover can only be taken in conjunction with Death by Sickness Cover provided by AIA life.
